Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On 1 August 2009, two senior Chinese agricultural experts and one Chinese translator successfully completed a series of training courses in Morocco. Over the course of the previous year the three Chinese experts carried out a total of nine agronomy and agricultural machinery training classes with a focus on the process of rice production. The three Chinese experts were sent to Morocco by the International Exchange Center of the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and managed by the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Morocco as well as by several relevant departments of the Moroccan Government. Over 900 agriculture technicians were trained over the course of the nine training sessions. The Chinese Ministry of Agriculture became the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs on 19 March 2018.
