Project narrative

In 2009, China’s Ministry of Commerce provided a grant to the Government of Equatorial Guinea for the Malabo Primary School Construction Project. This project involved the construction of a primary school in the city of Malabo, which also goes by the China-Equatorial Guinea Friendship Primary School. China Dalian International Cooperation Group was the contractor responsible for project implementation and China Youfa International Engineering was the contractor responsible for project supervision. Construction began on April 20, 2009 and was scheduled to end on October 20, 2009. Construction was ultimately completed in mid-December 2009. The project was officially completed and handed over to the local authorities in Equatorial Guinea on July 22, 2010. Then, on December 12, 2012, the Chinese Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea visited the school.
