Full Description

Project narrative

On January 1st, 2008, the Chinese Government granted US$72,500 to provide office equipment and vehicles to the Ministry of Parliamentary Relations and Inspection. The project was approved by the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented by the Ministry of National Assembly- Senate Relation and Inspection. The donation was completed on May 22nd, 2008 with a handover ceremony in Phnom Penh with the assistance of the Cambodian Parliamentary Liaison and Supervision Office Communication Equipment Project. The total transaction amount is $72,500 ("Project/Program Information and Implementation Arrangements"). It is expected that this batch of equipment including vehicles, computers, and printers, will help improve the office conditions of the Cambodian Parliament Liaison and Supervision Department and improve office efficiency ("援柬埔寨议会联络与监察部办公交通设备顺利移交").
