Description

On January 18, 2011, the Chinese government agreed to grant 10 million yuan worth of humanitarian aid to flood-ravaged Sri Lanka. On January 25, 2011, the handover ceremony was held for the 70 tons worth of materials, including 30,000 bags of milk powder, 30,000 bags of sugar, 10,000 pieces towel, 10,000 bed sheet, 7,200 blankets and 60 sets of water purifiers.

Additional details

The project is related to project #71652, which captured another humanitarian aid from China government in February 2011 for flood relief in Sri Lanka, and project #38917, which captured the $30,000 donation from China's Red Cross Society to flood victims.
