Description

On July 8, 2013, China has agreed to help Sri Lanka install wind power generation systems in rural areas near paddy fields. Under the scheme, the government will erect multi-purpose wind towers to ensure uninterrupted power supply during peak hours. China is providing technical assistance and sending private investors.
