Description

In 2009, the Chinese Government agreed to fund the construction of an anti-malaria center the Masaka Hospital, which was also being built with grant funding from the Chinese Government at the same time (see Project ID#56850). The center is located in the Masaka neighborhood in the capital city of Kigali. Its location lies approximately 17 kilometres, by road, east of the central business district of Kigali. The geographical coordinates of anti-malarial center at the Masaka Hospital are 01°59'30.0"S, 30°12'43.0"E (Latitude:-1.991667; Longitude:30.211944). The groundbreaking ceremony for the center took place on May 8, 2009.
