Project narrative

In 2007, the Chinese Embassy in Nepal donated a China FY-2D satellite data receiving and processing system from the Chinese Meteorological Administration to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology of the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology of the Nepali government. Chinese ambassador Zheng Xianglin formally handed over the equipment in a ceremony at the Chinese embassy in Kathmandu.
