In 2008, the Chinese Government donated $20,000 worth of medicines to Nepal's B. P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zheng Xianglin handed over the medicine to the hospital on behalf of the Chinese government. In February 2000, an exchange of letter concerning technical aid to the B. P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital were exchanged. The Chinese medical team is stationed at the B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, which is located in Bharatpur.
