Project narrative

In April 2009, China announced a 3 million yuan grant to Nepal for food assistance. The aid will be disbursed over five years, which consists of sugar, salt and other basic necessities for the northern region of Nepal. Chairman to Tibet Autonomous Region Champa Phuntshok announced the aid package during Nepalese Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav's visit to China.
