Project narrative

In July 2010, China donated 40,000 USD (Rs. 3 million) worth of food materials to Nepal, including salt, tea, and sugar. Chinese deputy administrator of the Kerung District Bhukung handed over the foodstuffs to local development officer of Rasuwa Ram Mani Bhattarai during a function in Syafrubesi. The food is intended to assist Nepalis living along the border area with China, specifically the locals of Timure and Thumnar Chilime in the bordering area of Rasuwa.
