Project narrative

On November 3, 2011, the China Tibet Autonomous Region announced a 3 million Rs food donation to districts in Nepal bordering China, including Darchula, Humla, Bajhang, Mustang, Manang, Rasuwa, Dhading, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha and Sankhuwasabha. The food, distributed under Food for Work program, included rice, wheat, salt, maize, and oat. Nepal will bear the cost of transporting the food from China to the district.
