Project narrative

On 30 December 2008, China signed an agreement to donate 30m RMB worth of wheat to Afghanistan as part of rebuilding efforts. The agreements were signed by Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Yang Houlan and Afghan Foreign Minister Rangin Dafar Spanta. According to online information provided by China's ECCO in Afghanistan, over 8,000 tons (or tonnes) valued at 30 million CNY were delivered during 2009:
