Description

On July 3, 2009, the Chinese Government dispatched the first batch of peacekeepers in the 10th Peacekeeping mission to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This batch consisted of 218 peacekeepers from the engineering unit and medical unit. On July 12, 2009, the Chinese Government was scheduled to dispatch a second batch of peacekeepers.
