Project narrative

On November 11, 2005 the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the Chinese Ministry of Education China signed an MOU under which China will provide 130 scholarships annually to Vietnamese students. The Chinese government has agreed to continue granting 130 scholarships annually to Vietnamese university students and post graduate students to study in tertiary institutes in China. The fellowships are part of the agreement to develop the educational co-operation programmes between the two countries from 2005-09. In the last 13 years, 500 Vietnamese students were awarded scholarships to study in China.
