Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In 2005, China provided about US$174,000 (Chinese Yuan 1.5 million) in funds to Vietnam to help fight bird flu. The aid was part of a cooperative programme between the two countries on bird flu prevention. The grant would be used to support Chinese businesses in transporting bird flu vaccines from China to Ho Chi Minh City; the vaccines were purchased from China by Vietnam.
