Full Description

Project narrative

On December 17, 2008, the Chinese government agreed to provide youth volunteers to Liberia including 1 Chinese language teacher, 4 athletic coaches, 2 computer technologists, 2 medical staff, and 3 agricultural technologists. The volunteers arrived in Liberia in June 2009 and worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Agriculture, and JFK Medical center. The 12 volunteers returned to China on June 19, 2010.
