In 2009, the Chinese Government provided a grant to the Government of Nigeria for the establishment of a China-Nigeria Anti-Malaria Centre in Abuja. The monetary value of this grant commitment is unknown. The China-Nigeria Anti-Malaria Centre officially opened on October 30, 2009.
