On 24 October 2013, the Chinese Government and the Government of Angola signed a protocol agreement dispatching the third Chinese medical team to Angola. The team completed its term of service between 11 December 2013 and 2015. The 11-member team consisted of experts in acupuncture, orthopaedics, surgery, and pediatrics. It was stationed at Luanda General Hospital (Hospital Geral de Luanda) in the Kilamba Kiaxi municipality of Luanda.
