Description

On November 3, 2003, China pledged a preferential export buyer's credit of 500 million USD to Pakistan for bilateral trade and economic cooperation, according to An Min, Chinese vice-minister of commerce, announcing a deal offered by Chinese President Hu Jintao during his talks with visiting Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf. The loan appears to have eventually been provided by China EXIM bank.
