Description

On July 30, 2004, the President of China Radio International pledged to provide and install high-powered medium -and short-waves and FM radio transmitters to the Pakistani Ministry of Information. The purpose of this project was to improve the existing radion quality in Pakistan and also to expand Pakistan's radio network so that it can be heard in neighboring countries like Iran, India, and Afghanistan. It is unclear whether this project was ever completed.
