Project narrative

As of October 22, 2005, Northern International Holding Co. donated humanitarian relief items worth USD 217,555 to Pakistani victims of the 2005 Kashmir earthquake. The donation consisted of blankets, surgical instruments, and food items. The October 8 earthquake in the disputed Kashmir region killed an estimated 86,000 people and injured more than 69,000 in Pakistan. The Muzaffarabad area of Kashmir experienced some of the heaviest damage in the region.
