Project narrative

On 8 March, 2011, the Chinese Government and the Government of Djibouti signed an agreement to dispatch the 16th medical team to work in Djibouti. The 14-member team arrived in Djibouti on 1 April 2012. They served at General Peltier Hospital (l’Hôpital Général Peltier) until the end of 2013. Since 1981, the Chinese Government has sent 19 medical teams to Djibouti.
