Description

In 2008, the Vice President of Costa Rica announced that China would grant Costa Rica $10 million USD for a natural disaster emergency fund. The current status of this project is unclear. This project represents one of two agreements signed between China and Costa Rica on May 6, 2008. Together, the two agreements are worth USD $50 million. See project ID #40725 for the USD $40 million line of credit that China extended to Costa Rica to assist small and medium business projects.
