Project narrative

China has been sending medical teams to Rwanda since 1982 and until 2015, 16 teams in total. All the medical teams are sent from Neimenggu ( Inner Mongolia) Province. On May 13, 2010, the Government of Rwanda and the Chinese Government signed an agreement in order to further cooperation in the fields of sanitation and health care between the two countries. This agreement provided for the 15th medical team to be sent to Rwanda. In 2011 September, the 15th medical team arrived in Rwanda. There are 16 people on this team. The duration of their stay was 2 years.
