Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On the 31st of December 2013, China signed an agreement with the Tanzania Ministry of Foreign Affairs to donate 40 million shillings worth of office equipment to the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB). It is unknown whether the actual delivery of equipment has taken place or the timeline for the completion of the transfer. It is also unknown where this office equipment will be sent once delivered. At the same ceremony, officials signed three other agreements. One loaned 26 billion TZS (ETCA #36071), another was a 52 billion TZS grant (ETCA #36070), and the third was 1.3 Billion TZS for the Julius Nyerere International Convention Center (Record ID#36072).
