Description

On August 6, 2013, the Chinese government pledged to grant 100 buses to the Sudanese government free of charge. The project was implemented by China FAW Group Import & Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of FAW Group. The buses arrived in Sudan on January 22, 2014, and China officially delivered the vehicles to the Sudanese government during a ceremony in Khartoum on April 9, 2014, where the Khartoum State Governor Abdul-Rahman Al-Khadir and the Chinese Ambassador to Sudan Luo Xiaoguang signed a certificate handing them over. The value of the buses is unknown.
