Staff comments

El Comercio records the computers to be valued at S/.71,329.82 (about 32,015 USD), quoting the Oficina Nacional de Procesos Electorales/National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE). The state official news agency Andina and a separate social media source report the grant to be worth 90,000 USD/almost 100,000 USD. Because it is able to provide a more specific number, because it quotes an official government agency, and because it is the more conservative estimate, the former number has been used.
