Project narrative

On November 28, 2011, Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) and China Development Bank signed a loan agreement of $150 million payable over five years. This loan contract was signed by BCP's Central Manager of Planning and Finance, Alvaro Correa, and the representative of CDB International Cooperation, Li Jianye. The loan was expected to contribute to increasing international trade between Peru and China with a cooperation agreement aimed at channeling Chinese investments in Peru through the BCP.
