Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On October 6, 2014, China donated 400 fumigators, valued at around 240,000 Soles to Peru for the purpose of helping the approximately 100 thousand families dependent upon coffee production combat the Roya Amarilla Plague. Chinese Ambassador Huang Minhui noted that the donation is a reminder of a productive year for relations between China and Peru and the continued technical support in varying areas such as health, the fight against drug trafficking, and agriculture. Despite more equipment, coffee production still slowed down due to the disease in places like Sandia.
