On January 6, 2003, as part of the 2003 Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (#63828), China granted $350,000 USD to Suriname's state-owned television network to improve its communication facilities and public information system. State Councilor Wu Yi singed on behalf of China and Vice President Sudug Aduja signed on behalf of Suriname.
