Project narrative

Starting in July 2010, heavy monsoon rains caused floods in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab and, Balochistan regions of Pakistan. In response, on 23 October 2010 in Beijing, the Senior Manageer of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd. (CSCEC) donated 100,000 RMB to the Pakistani Ambassador to China for flood relief in Pakistan. Prior to this donation, the Pakistani branch office of CSCEC made a separate 100,000 PKR donation also for flood relief (see Record ID#36894).
