Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On March 5, 2010, a chartered plane from the Chinese Government arrived in Chile with 2 million USD worth of earthquake relief including 700 tents, 10,000 blankets, 100 portable generators and two water purifiers. This aid was in response to an 8.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Chile on February 27, 2010. This project is linked to the 1 million USD grant China also sent following the earthquake in Chile (Record ID#37013).
