Description
On December 17-19, 2010, during the visit of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, a framework agreement of 3.55 billion USD MOU was signed between the National Transmission and Dispatch Company of Pakistan and China Development Bank along with Shenyang Tebian Electric Apparatus Stock Co., Ltd. (TBEA) for an upgrade of transmission lines in Pakistan’s power sector. In August 2011 the Pakistani President Zardari, during ameeting with Chairman of TBEA (among China's main power transmission industry company), appreciated the company's interest in Pakistan and its $ 3.5 billion agreement with Pakistan's NTDC (National Transmission and Dispatch Company) and China Development Bank (CDB) to supply transmission equipment to Pakistan.
