Project narrative

On May 25th, 2010, Chinese Embassy in Colombia held a hand-over and certification signing ceremony for a set of test equipment for containers was held in Bogotá. This equipment will help with the inspections in customs as well as detecting drug trafficking. The equipment has been in used at Buenaventura since the ceremony and has supported commodity testing and anti-drug trafficking in shipping containers that pass through the border. No further information was found on the number of containers given to Colombia or on their monetary value.
