Description
Then, on or before October 16, 2008, the Chinese Government and the Government of Bolivia signed letters of exchange in which the Chinese Government agreed to donate the computer equipment to boost the technological capacity of Bolivia's Foreign Ministry. The funds for this project were drawn from the two Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreements (ETCAs) signed on April 27, 2006 (as captured by linked project ID#69366) and November 25, 2006 (as captured by linked project ID#69366). The Government of Bolivia exempted the equipment from taxes on July 29, 2009. The combined value of the grant funding from the ETCAs was RMB 3.6 million ($530,000 USD). China Radio & TV Co. provided the computer equipment, a server, computers, sound equipment, projectors and a phone system. The equipment was handed over on December 23, 2009.
