On September 27, 2007, Chinese Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea Li Zhongliang and Equatorial Guinean Foreign Minister Jose Essono Micah signed an exchange of notes on the Chinese government's provision of 1 million yuan of antimalarial drugs to the Equatorial Guinean government.
