Project narrative

On October, 8, 2007 in Nuku'alofa, China handed over a batch of 21 cars to Tonga. The donation was for of the 38th Pacific Island Leaders Forum, which was hosted in Nuku'alofa. Of the 21 cars donated, at least one was a Toyota Land Cruiser. The value of this donation is unknown. China also handed over a batch of motorcycles for the same forum on September 28 (see Record ID#65014), and included a batch of office equipment with their donation of cars on October 8th (see #37673).
