Project narrative

On 22 November 2004, Fiji's parliament received office equipment donated by the Chinese government. Secretary-General to Parliament Mary Chapman says the office equipment is worth thousands of dollars and will be installed soon. Chapman says the donation, which includes computers, laptops, printers and other electrical equipment, will help them successfully host the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association meeting next year. Estimated cost of the equipment was 30,000 USD.
