Description
In 2004, China sent the second medical mission to Papua New Guinea, following the first batch of 10 people in 2002. Chinese Embassy in PNG realized in 2000 that PNG needed medical doctors badly, leading to the decision to include a medical team as part of China's economic assistance to the country. The doctors, specializing in a variety of fields, worked at Port Moresby General Hospital for two years.
