Description

On December 16, 2010, the Chinese government gave Indonesia natural disaster relief assistance totalling 10 million yuan. Recent disasters include the earthquake and tsunami in West Sumatra, the eruption of Mount Merapi in Central Java, Papua Province and severe flooding in several areas, which resulted in heavy casualties and property losses. This aid comes alongside another grant of $30,000 from China for the same disaster victims (#37878).
