On August 8th 2014, the Chinese ambassador to Uganda donated office equipment of unspecified value to the Ugandan Foreign Minister who had just been elected the President of the UN General Assembly. There are no corroborating sources that confirm the gift, but the Chinese embassy website provides photos of the gifts.
