Description

In 2011, China Machinery Engineering Co., Ltd. (CMEC) donated 5 million rupees to Sri Lanka as emergency relief during flooding that occurred while the Puthalam Coal Power Plant Project (普塔拉姆煤电站项目) was being built. On 25 February 2011, vice president of CMEC Li Chaoyang met Sri Lanka First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa [希兰蒂·拉贾帕克萨] and expressed condolences on the recent floods disaster in Sri Lanka, and on behalf of the company contributed five million rupees to assist relief operations.
