Project narrative

On August 16 2007, Chinese ambassador to Nepal Zheng Xianglin announced that the government of China's Tibet Autonomous Region will provide relief materials equivalent to 300,000 RMB (39,600 USD) to Nepal's flood-stricken areas, including tents, carpets, pure water and food. The relief materials were handed over to the Nepal Red Cross Society in the Nepali capital of Kathmandu on Thursday, 13 September 2007.
