The Chinese government (Hebei Province) has been sending medical teams to Nepal every two years since 1999. The 6th medical team began its work on March 6, 2010. The team was stationed at B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. Medical work has been carried out, with a total of 66,386 patient clinic visits, 9643 inpatient treatment of patients, operated on 5283 patients, and develop 22 new technological projects. The work was handed over to the 7th medical team in March 2012. The B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital is located in Bharatpur.
