Description
The Chinese government (Hebei Province) has been sending medical teams to Nepal every two years since 1999. The 7th medical team consisting of 14 people arrived in Nepal on February 27, 2014. The team was stationed at B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. In the aftermath of the April 2015 Nepal earthquake, the medical team helped out at Bharatpur Hospital and Chitwan Medical College Teaching Hospital with the Epidemics Prevention Medical Team and the Chinese Government Medical Team. The 9th medical team arrived on March 2, 2016. The Chinese medical team is stationed at the B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, which is located in Bharatpur.
