Description
On February 24th, 2014, Deputy director of the China Civil Aviation Authority Xia Xinghua [夏兴华] and the Nepal Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ministry Secretary Susie [苏西] signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on air transport services on behalf of their respective governments. Under the MOU, the two sides will significantly expanded traffic rights arrangements agreed between the two countries, the number of passenger flight routes will also increase from the current 14 to 56 in 2014, and to 63 in 2015, and to 70 in 2016. China also agreed to provide technical assistance in the areas of flight operation, aircraft maintenance, safety oversight, air traffic management, security, and CNS facilities to Nepal.
