Project narrative

On February 2, 2005, the Chinese Embassy in Singapore donated 1,000 books and CD-Roms to Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. The books and CD-Roms will be helpful to the first batch of students reading Chinese studies in July 2005 at NTU's School of Humanties & Social Sciences. The books and CD-Roms, published by several distinguished academic publishers in China, cover a myriad of subjects, ranging from Chinese language and linguistics, translation studies, history and culture, to philosophy and religion.
