China sends 5th Chinese medical team to B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Nepal (linked to #38570, #38572, #38567 and #38566)

The Chinese Govenrment (Hebei Province) has been sending medical teams to Nepal every two years since 1999. The 5th medical team consisting of 18 people arrived in Nepal on February 25, 2008. The team was stationed at B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital. It completed its work on March 6, 2010, at which point the 6th medical team began its work (see Project ID#38399). The Chinese medical team is stationed at the B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, which is located in Bharatpur. Additional details

The B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital is a comprehensive cancer care center with 450 beds and equipped with diagnostic and therapeutic machine in the country. It was established in the 1990s with aid from the Chinese Government.
