Description
In July 2012, Universiti Brunei Darussalam and Zhejiang University signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on a joint petrochemical education to facilitate bilateral discussion on future cooperation, such as student exchanges, joint programmes and research. This MOU underlined the cooperative relationship between the two institutions, especially between their engineering faculties, and further strengthened the relationship. Under the agreement, 13 scholars will study in Zhejiang University for 18 months. Chinese Ambassador Zheng lauded the program and wished the 13 students all the best and to enjoy their study and life in China. He also urged Chinese and Bruneian high-level educational institutions to constantly expand room for cooperation, diversity cooperative programs, and train more professionals and experts together, to further promote the bilateral relations through education and people-to-people exchanges
