Full Description

Project narrative

On May 8, 2014, the Chinese Government donated modern office equipment -- including DVD players, computers, scanners, and projectors -- worth over RMB 800,000 to the Research Center of Nepal National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC). Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Wu Chuntai, and Secretary-General of the NTNC, Govinda Gajurel, later signed a "Delivery and Acceptance Certificate of China-aided Office Equipment'" in Kathmandu. This donation resulted from a grant agreement that was codified in letters of exchange, which were signed by the two governments in August 2012. Prior to this donation, the Chinese Government provided a grant for the construction of the Research Center of the NTNC (see Record ID#38366). The Research Center of Nepal National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) is located in Kathmandu.
